Brutal Kombat (Nokia Art Jam 2)

I remember having a blast playing this Mortal Kombat knock-off with friends over infrared.

The game didn't catch on though, maybe it was the stolen IP,  or in my opinion the terrible net-play that had to go through SMS system. Back then online gaming, or as we called it, on-air gaming had a major speed issue.
The fact that we had to disconnect live chat to do a move didn't help either.
